Well my excuse for not having posted anything since last year is that the workload for Metamorphosis is immense and I never seem to find a spare moment.

Over the last months I have been hunting for beetle larvae (particularly Cerambycidae) buried away in pieces of wood. I am always astonished by what comes to light and love it when I come across something I haven't seen before. Often, the reason I haven't seen something before is because it's so damned small and springtails are absolutely tiny. The one here is a Monobella grassei, less than a millimetre long.
